Death Valley is truly a land of extremes! A vast and seemingly inhospitable place, but it was so much more than we could ever have imagined. We covered a lot of ground on our adventure with ModernJeeper in 4 days. Throughout the trip, Del Albright (or Uncle Del, as we all called him) led the way as he regaled us with Death Valley's many riveting tales and storied history over the CB and by fireside each night. We were awed by Death Valley's incredible landscapes and ever-changing scenery and learned so much about it's fascinating past. Overlanding in Death Valley was an amazing adventure we will never forget!
A big thank you to Del and all the folks with ModernJeeper for planning this amazing trip! Also, thank you to Robert up at the Cerro Gordo Mine for sharing with us the tales and history of the old mining ghost town. We thoroughly enjoyed his stories!
